EasySATPrep provides free Digital SAT practice at easysatprep.com and through the EasySATPrep mobile app. This page describes the data used by the current service.
No sign-in is needed. You can use every practice feature on the website and in the mobile app without an account. The mobile app has no sign-in at all and keeps your progress on your device. Signing in with Google on the website is optional and only adds cross-device sync.
What we store
- Practice activity. The website and mobile app store answer history, test summaries, settings, and hidden-question choices on your device. An unfinished test is also saved locally so you can resume it.
- Optional study reminders. The mobile app can schedule local notifications on the study days and time you choose. Reminder preferences stay on your device; EasySATPrep does not receive a push token or send reminder data to a server. You can turn reminders off in the Plan tab or from a reminder notification.
- Private AI drafts. If you choose to generate questions, the resulting unreviewed drafts are saved only in this browser. They are not part of account sync or the shared question bank.
- Optional Socratic coach. For a reviewed question, the approved question text and explanation and your chat prompts are sent directly from your device to Anthropic when you use your own API key. EasySATPrep does not receive or save the key or conversation; the Worker receives the question ID and version to check review status, plus an optional helpfulness/error rating. Anthropic may process the request and charge your account.
- Optional account. If you sign in with Google on the website, EasySATPrep stores your Google account identifier, email, name, profile image, a session, and a synced copy of your progress.
- Daily limits. The service stores per-day question and report counts. For anonymous limits it uses a shortened hash of the request IP address; signed-in question limits use your account ID.
- Question reports. A report can include the question ID and version, reason, optional note, answer, screen context, timestamp, and a versioned pseudonymous reporter hash. Distinct hashes help identify repeated reports from the same network address. Older report records may still contain the original IP address until the one-time backfill is reviewed and applied.
- Product analytics. If configured, answer, report, coach-feedback, and coarse study/test journey events use a separate pseudonymous IP-derived hash. Answer and report events may include a question ID; journey events contain only the event type and bounded category, section, timing, question-count, and duration fields. Coach feedback contains only a question ID and rating, not your key, question prompt, or conversation. These analytics are not linked to your EasySATPrep account.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We don't run ads or ad-tracking SDKs.
- You don't need an account to practice. Sign-in is optional on the website. The mobile app has no sign-in and keeps your progress on your device.
Services used
- Google provides optional website sign-in and web fonts.
- Anthropic receives a prompt and temporary API key directly from your browser or mobile app when you choose private AI drafts or the Socratic coach. The EasySATPrep Worker does not receive or save the key or coach conversation. Anthropic handles requests under its own terms and billing.
- Desmos powers the graphing calculator; calculator inputs are processed by its embedded widget.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, API, database, and configured product analytics.
Children's privacy
EasySATPrep is intended for students preparing for the SAT and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Delete your data
On the website, signed-in users can choose Settings → Delete account and data. In the mobile app, signed-in users can choose Progress → Settings → Delete account and data. This deletes the account, synced progress, sessions, and account-based quota records, and clears EasySATPrep data saved on that device. For browser-only progress, choose Settings → Clear this device's data.
Reports and product analytics use IP-derived hashes instead of an account ID, so account deletion does not locate or erase those records. The app does not currently provide self-service deletion of individual reports. Daily quota and report records are stored in D1; the current app does not publish a separate retention schedule for those records.
